Large equipment foundations for cryogenic tanks are analysed with FEM technique. SPMAT, GTSTRUDL or STAAD is used depending the nature of the problem. The mats can be on piles - when these are represented by springs. Reinforcements are arranged avoiding congestion and ease of concrete placement.
