Retaining walls, culverts, precast piperack, process tructures and large basins falls under the category of concrete structures. We use STAAD for designing such structures. Important considerations are joint design for piperack, hydrodynamic forces during earthquake for basins. Earthquake forces are critical for large retaining walls while dispersion of wheel loads are important for culverts.
